costBo Subscription Terms

  • Subscription Terms:
  • costBo subscriptions may be offered by “costBo Services Private Ltd” for different plans and tenures, which are described as under

    costBo SubscriptionTerm/Tenure
    Monthly Monthly (valid for 1 month from the date of activation). e.g If a customer signs up for a plan on 10th of June, the subscription will be due for renewal on 10th of July. Billing period - 10th of given month to 9th of the following month, repeats every month.
    Yearly/Annual Yearly (valid for 12 months from the date of activation). e.g If a customer signs up for a plan on 10th of June in a given year, the subscription will be due for renewal on 10th of June the following year. Billing period - 10th June of given year to 9th June of following year.

    • Subscription fees - Monthly/Yearly subscription fee per the plan chosen plus taxes applicable and possible transaction fees.

    • costBo subscription plans only becomes effective upon successful authorization of payment or successfully enabling recurring payments (for auto renewal of your subscription). If you choose to auto renew your costBo subscription, the subscription will renew automatically for a subscription term one after the other, unless you expressly select to cancel or disable such automatic renewal and recurring payments for your subscription. Under auto renewal, monthly subscriptions auto renew on a monthly basis and annual subscriptions auto renew on an annual basis.

    • If the payment is not successfully settled on the billing date, some services could be affected immediately. You may be contacted or notified about payment failure. In case of unsuccessful payments, payment will be charged from the first day of the current billing cycle once payment method is retained. If the payment is delayed/ failed for full month of billing cycle, subscription will be cancelled and reverted back to the free plan.

    • Subscription fee will be charged on the first day of the monthly/yearly billing cycle as applicable.

    • In some cases your payment date may change, for example if your Payment Method has not successfully settled or if your paid subscription began on a day not contained in a given month. Review your payment details and history of payments in the app.

    • We may authorize your Payment Method in anticipation of subscription or service-related charges through various methods, including authorizing it up to approximately one month or one year of service as soon as you register. In some instances, your available balance or credit limit may be reduced to reflect the authorization during your free trial period.

    • Payment Methods - To use the costBo service you must provide credit card for Payment Method. Credit card information can be updated by visiting account page. Payment will be charged in currency corresponding to your region. You can update your Payment Methods by visiting payment plans page. We may also update your Payment Methods using information provided by the payment service providers. Following any update, you authorize us to continue to charge the applicable Payment Method(s). You authorize us to charge any Payment Method associated to your account in case your primary Payment Method is declined or no longer available to us for payment of your subscription fee. You remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not cancel your account, we may suspend your access to the service until we have successfully charged a valid Payment Method. For some Payment Methods, the issuer may charge you certain fees, such as foreign transaction fees or other fees relating to the processing of your Payment Method. Local tax charges may vary depending on the Payment Method used. Check with your Payment Method service provider for details.

  • Subscription Plan Change:
  • You may choose to upgrade* or downgrade* to another available subscription plan in costBo at any time. Services as per the new plan will be effective as of the requested date upon successful processing of payment (if applicable).

    upgrade - subscription to another available costBo plan where the monthly/yearly fee is higher than the current plan.
    downgrade - subscription to another available costBo plan where the monthly/yearly fee is lower than the current plan.

    The billing details may be as follows:

    • Based on the billing details calculated for the new plan, if the amount is due from the customer, it will be charged against the current and available Payment Method in costBo. If the amount is due to the customer, it will be refunded against the current and available Payment Method in costBo. Refunds may take up to 5 to 7 calendar days for processing.

  • Cancellation:
  • You may choose cancel your costBo subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to the costBo service until the time period as explained below. To the extent permitted by the applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial-month subscriptions or unused available services. To cancel, go to the "Account" page and follow the instructions for cancellation. If you cancel your subscription, your account will automatically switch to ‘costBo FREE FOREVER’ plan at the end of the access period as explained below. To see when your account details, click "Billing details" on the "Account" page.

    Monthly End of your current monthly billing cycle. e.g If a customer signs up for a plan on 10th of June, Cancellation request raised on 20th of October. Services will be available through 9th of November (the following month). No refund will be processed.
    Yearly/Annual The calendar day in the current/following month which is same as the yearly subscription end date. e.g If a customer signs up for a plan on 10th of June, Cancellation request raised on 20th of October the same year. Services will be available through 9th of November. Refund will be processed for remaining months in the yearly billing cycle. e.g Subscription amount applicable from 10th of November to 9th of June of the following year will be refunded. Refund will be processed to the original payment method with 7 business days.

  • Changes to the Price and Subscription Plans:
  • We may change our subscription plans and the price of our service from time to time however, any price changes or changes to our subscription plans will apply to you no earlier than 90 days following notice to you.
